Job Description

  • Infrastructure Management:
  • Planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of SCCM infrastructure and services.
  • Deployment & Management:
  • Deploying and managing software, updates, and operating systems across the network.
  • Collection & Package Management:
  • Creating and managing collections, applications, and packages within SCCM.
  • Reporting & Monitoring:
  • Generating reports on application installation status, client health, and other relevant metrics.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
  • Troubleshooting issues within SCCM and related systems, providing technical support to end-users and other IT staff.
  • Scripting:
  • Developing and maintaining scripts (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript) for automating tasks and managing the SCCM environment.
  • Patch Management:
  • Managing software patches and updates through WSUS (Windows Server Update Services).
  • Network & Security:
  • Understanding and managing network configurations, firewall rules, and security settings to ensure a secure SCCM environment.
  • Collaboration:
  • Working with other IT teams (e.g., network, support) and end-users to ensure smooth operations and address their needs.
  • Example Responsibilities (from search results):
  • Leads the design, implementation, and management of SCCM infrastructure.
  • Creates and manages task sequences for operating system deployment (OSD).
  • Manages desktop patching through WSUS.
  • Creates and manages collections, applications, packages, deployments, and reports.
  • Ensures the network is secure and compliant with the organizations policies and standards.
