Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Governance & Policy Enforcement
Define and enforce packaging standards, compliance requirements, and change governance across global teams.
Ensure Zero Trust readiness in all packaging activitiesapp hardening, permissions, certificate signing, and privilege isolation.
Advanced Packaging & Deployment
Architect, create, and optimize application packages in MSI, MST, MSIX, EXE, App-V, FlexApp, and .intunewin formats.
Own and streamline Win32 Intune packaging and deploymentincluding advanced detection logic, dependency trees, and dynamic assignment policies.
Drive robust, automated packaging workflows using PowerShell scripting and PSDeploy, integrated with CI/CD (e.g., Azure DevOps).
Enterprise Endpoint Management
Design and optimize software delivery strategies for SCCM, MECM, and Microsoft Intune (co-managed and cloud-native models).
Lead transformation from legacy systems to modern management, including MSIX adoption, W365/AVD compatibility, and conditional access alignment.
Application Virtualization & Compatibility
Lead complex packaging efforts using App-V 5.x and Liquidware FlexApp for both persistent and non-persistent environments (e.g., Citrix, AVD, VDI).
Address deep compatibility issues, legacy dependencies, system-level conflicts, and runtime anomalies using advanced techniques (shimming, sandboxing, sequencing).
Leadership & Cross-Team Influence
Act as SME and escalation point for critical deployments, global rollout failures, or compliance breaches related to app installs.
Mentor junior engineers, influence vendor onboarding, and interface with InfoSec, Compliance, EUC, DevOps, and Infrastructure leadership.

6+ years in enterprise-scale application packaging and deployment roles.
Proven authority in Microsoft Intune (.intunewin packaging) and SCCM/MECM infrastructure.
Advanced skills in AdminStudio, InstallShield, Orca, and PowerShell scripting (including PSDeploy).
Deep experience in App-V 5.x and FlexApp packaging in high-availability environments.
Strong understanding of Windows internals, registry, service behavior, driver-level conflicts, permissions, and user-context deployment.
Ability to handle critical, high-risk application deployments under audit and production control.
