Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SCCM Administrator to manage and support Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in software deployment, patch management, system monitoring, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments, ensuring optimal configuration and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, configure, and maintain the SCCM environment across the enterprise.
  • Manage software distribution, patch management, OS deployment, and endpoint protection using SCCM.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot SCCM infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain SCCM collections, queries, reports, and client health monitoring.
  • Manage operating system deployments using SCCM Task Sequences.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to ensure effective software updates and security patch rollouts.
  • Plan and execute SCCM upgrades and migrations.
  • Provide support for SCCM client troubleshooting and remediation.
  • Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting and SCCM automation features.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams (e.g., Security, Network) to ensure integrated system management.
  • Document SCCM architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4 to 8 years of experience managing SCCM (Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager) in a medium to large enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SCCM infrastructure, software distribution, patch management, OS deployment, and client management.
  • Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
  • Familiarity with WSUS (Windows Server Update Services) and Endpoint Protection integration.
  • Experience with SCCM reporting, SQL queries, and dashboard creation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex SCCM issues, including client deployment and communication problems.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management is a plus.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or other MDM solutions.
  • Knowledge of Azure AD and cloud integration with SCCM.
  • Experience with Configuration Manager CB (Current Branch).
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.
