Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Scala
  • Apply object-oriented and functional programming paradigms effectively
  • Implement advanced functional programming concepts such as monads, applicatives, and type classes
  • Build strongly typed, concurrent, and scalable systems using Scala Typelevel libraries such as Cats and Shapeless
  • Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs for backend services
  • Architect and implement microservices-based solutions
  • Handle multithreading, asynchronous processing, and concurrency efficiently
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor backend systems on AWS infrastructure
  • Containerize applications using Docker and support cloud-native deployments
  • Perform performance tuning, logging, and robust error handling
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex backend and data-related issues
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and best practices across backend components
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure clean, maintainable, and scalable code
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, and operations
