PLC Development and Maintenance
- Design, program, and maintain Rockwell ControlLogix PLCs with redundancy at all levels, including hot and warm redundancy systems.
- Implement and troubleshoot distributed network configurations using Rockwell hardware and software
SCADA System Development
- Develop and manage SCADA systems using FactoryTalk View SE, including:
Building global object libraries
Configuring alarms and events
Developing VB scripts for automation
Perform SCADA migrations, integrations, and optimizations to support operational requirements
Historian Development and Maintenance
- Build, maintain, and refresh systems in FactoryTalk Historian
- Ensure seamless data collection, storage, and analysis for decision-making
System Redundancy and Reliability
- Ensure redundancy at all levels (control, SCADA, and Historian) to maximize system availability and minimize downtime
System Integration and Architecture
- Collaborate with teams to understand system architecture and implement solutions
- Lead integration with third-party systems using OPC UA Client/Server protocols
- Work with OEMs to resolve technical challenges and optimize system performance
Networking and Cybersecurity (Preferred)
- Configure and maintain secure industrial networks, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards
- Apply knowledge of VM and host platforms to manage virtualized environments
Leadership and Team Development
- Provide technical leadership to the team, mentoring and grooming junior engineers
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team skills in automation and Rockwell ecosystem tools
Documentation and Compliance
- Develop and review detailed project documentation, including P&IDs, system architecture diagrams, and SOPs
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle
