SB Author

Key Responsibilities:

• Author, review, and revise Service Bulletins (SBs) based on engineering inputs, design changes, and modification requests.
• Interpret engineering drawings, modification instructions, and change documentation to prepare accurate SB content.
• Ensure compliance with ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, and OEM-specific documentation standards.
• Coordinate with design, production, and certification teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical data.
• Create illustrations, procedures, and technical narratives describing modification and maintenance tasks.
• Validate authored content against engineering requirements and regulatory compliance standards.
• Maintain revision control and documentation consistency across multiple configurations and product versions.
• Support quality reviews, audits, and publication release activities.

Required Qualifications:

• 2–9 years of experience in Service Bulletin authoring or similar aerospace technical documentation roles.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems, structures, and modification procedures.
• Experience with authoring tools such as Arbortext Editor, Oxygen XML, FrameMaker, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, and related aerospace documentation standards.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, and engineering change documentation (ECR/ECO).
