Job Description: SAS Developer

Working within the Control Feature Team, you'll help empower colleagues across the Bank by delivering data-driven controls, calculators, and reporting that reduce risk and support regulatory compliance. You'll work closely with teams across the organisation to build sustainable, high-integrity data products that enable confident decisions and exceptional stakeholder outcomes

We need you to have

Strong experience using SAS to extract, transform, analyse, and report on complex datasets.

Proven experience performing data analysis and developing impactful, value-adding reporting solutions from business requirements.

Excellent data interrogation skills, including the ability to trace data to source, assess data quality, and work confidently with large and complex datasets.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail and the capability to identify challenges, opportunities, and root causes.

Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues for non-technical audiences.

A self-starter able to independently locate, validate, and interpret data in environments with limited documentation or established guidance

And if you have any of these, even better

Experience developing or maintaining RShiny applications.

Strong SQL skills, including data transformation and advanced query development.

Experience with change management, the development lifecycle, and stakeholder or project management within an Agile environment.
