Description and Location

The SAP Warranty / Vehicle Management System (VMS) Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting warranty management and vehicle lifecycle processes within SAP for automotive clients. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to manage warranty claims, vehicle tracking, dealer integration, and after-sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support SAP warranty management solutions for automotive clients.
• Configure and manage vehicle lifecycle processes in SAP Vehicle Management System.
• Handle warranty claim processing, validation, settlement, and dealer claim integration.
• Work on integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SD, and SAP MM modules.
• Support dealer management and after-sales service operations.
• Configure warranty types, claim categories, and approval workflows.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional specifications.
• Support vehicle order management, VIN tracking, and logistics processes in VMS.
• Work closely with automotive OEM and dealer networks to streamline warranty operations.
• Participate in system testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Troubleshoot issues related to warranty claims and vehicle data processing.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP Warranty Management and SAP Vehicle Management System.
• Knowledge of automotive after-sales and warranty processes.
• Experience in SAP SD/MM integration.
• Understanding of vehicle lifecycle management (VIN, dealer allocation, vehicle logistics).
• Experience in requirement gathering and functional documentation.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA automotive solutions is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of SAP functional experience.
• Experience working with automotive OEMs or automotive dealerships.
• Knowledge of vehicle sales, warranty claims, and service management processes.
