Job Description
We are looking for a skilled SAP UI5 / Fiori Developer with strong hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, and optimizing SAP Fiori applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in UI5 architecture, OData integration, and SAP BTP deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP UI5/Fiori applications
- Work on MVC architecture and UI5 lifecycle management
- Develop responsive UI using SAP Fiori Design Guidelines
- Build and integrate OData (V2/V4) and REST APIs via SAP Gateway
- Develop custom Fiori applications (Freestyle & Extensions)
- Work with UI5 controls, Smart Controls, Fragments, and Dialogs
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Configure Fiori Launchpad and manage role-based access
- Collaborate with backend teams for seamless UI5ABAP integration
- Deploy applications on SAP BTP (MTAR build & deployment)
- Use SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) for development
- Manage code using Git/GitHub and follow branching strategies
- Work in Agile environment with end-to-end ownership
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP UI5 & Fiori development
- Deep understanding of MVC architecture & UI5 lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with OData services (V2/V4)
- Experience in REST API integration (Gateway)
- Knowledge of jQuery, AJAX calls
- Expertise in Fiori Design Guidelines & responsive UI
- Experience in custom Fiori apps (Freestyle & Extensions)
- Strong debugging & performance tuning skills
- Experience in Fiori Launchpad configuration & roles
- Hands-on with SAP BAS (Business Application Studio)
- Experience with Git/GitHub version control
- Exposure to SAP BTP services & deployments (MTAR)
- Good understanding of UI5-Backend integration (ABAP/OData)
- Experience working in Agile projects
Nice to Have
- Experience in SAP BTP landscape setup
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for UI5 deployment
