Role Overview
We are seeking an SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to design, implement, and support end-to-end TM processes. The role involves working with business teams to translate transportation and logistics requirements into scalable SAP TM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements and design transportation planning & execution processes in SAP TM.
- Configure SAP TM functionalities including freight planning, carrier selection, charge management, PPF actions, and SAP EM integration.
- Integrate TM with ECC/S4 HANA, EWM, SD, MM, and third-party logistics systems.
- Design functional specifications and work closely with ABAP developers.
- Conduct unit testing, SIT, UAT, cutover activities, and hypercare support.
- Support enhancements, change requests, and end-user training.
KRAs
- On-time delivery of TM configurations and project milestones.
- Accuracy and quality of functional specifications and documentation.
- Improvement in logistics KPIs such as freight cost, route optimization, and planning accuracy.
- User adoption and stability of TM processes post-go-live.
Required Technical Skills
- SAP TM (Basic/Advanced) - Planning, Execution, Freight Orders, Freight Units.
- SAP S/4 HANA Logistics integration.
- Charge Calculation, PPF Framework, Output Management.
- Knowledge of SAP EM, EWM, SD, MM integration.
- Hands-on experience with Fiori apps related to TM.
- Debugging knowledge and ability to collaborate with ABAP teams.
