SAP Testing Lead - MM/Retail Modules

We are seeking an experienced SAP Testing Lead with expertise in SAP MM (Material Management) and SAP Retail. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP testing and an in-depth understanding of SDLC and testing life cycles. This role requires strong coordination skills to work with Business Analysts, ABAP teams, and Functional Analysts to ensure high-quality software testing and validation processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage SAP testing processes, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Develop and implement software testing strategies, plans, and execution frameworks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, ABAP teams, and Functional Analysts, to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Design end-to-end business process flows for SAP applications.
• Utilize test management tools for planning, execution, and tracking testing efforts.
• Monitor and maintain testing KPIs to assess the effectiveness of testing efforts.
• Oversee defect lifecycle management, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to testing teams, driving continuous process improvements.
• Work closely with automation teams, sharing functional knowledge and supporting script development and remediation.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards through test planning, execution, and validation.
• Manage effort tracking for all testing-related tasks and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Prepare and present comprehensive test reports and documentation to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Expertise in SAP Testing (a must).
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM (Material Management) and SAP Retail.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation (good to have).
• In-depth understanding of different SDLC and Testing Life Cycles.
• Strong oral and written communication skills (a must).
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills (a must).
• Experience in test management tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in managing and maintaining testing KPIs and defect lifecycle management.
• Ability to train, mentor, and manage teams on testing best practices and methodologies.
• Experience in working with automation teams for knowledge sharing and script development.
• Exposure to test reporting and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in SAP Testing or related fields.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and test automation tools.
