Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Lead with strong expertise in modern ABAP development on SAP BTP. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in CAPM/RAP development, SAP workflow solutions, and the ability to lead technical teams while driving scalable solution architecture.
This role requires both strong technical depth and leadership capability in enterprise SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical solution design and development in SAP ABAP.
- Develop and deploy applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Design and implement solutions using:
- CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model)
- RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
- Develop and enhance workflows using SAP Workflow / Flexible Workflow.
- Architect and implement OData services, CDS views, and APIs.
- Guide offshore/onshore technical teams and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
- Ensure performance optimization, security compliance, and scalable architecture.
- Drive technical best practices and governance standards.
- Support integration with S/4HANA and other SAP/non-SAP systems.
Mandatory Skills
- 1012 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA.
- Extensive experience with SAP BTP development.
- Hands-on experience with CAPM and RAP development.
- Strong understanding of SAP BTP architecture and services.
- Experience in SAP Workflow / Business Process Automation.
- Proven experience working as a Technical Lead.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and optimization skills.
Desired / Secondary Skills
- Experience with Fiori/UI5 development.
- Exposure to SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience with REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in SAP BTP.
- Exposure to S/4HANA implementations or upgrades.
