As we continue to scale, we're looking for a capable leader to manage and empower our SAP end-user team, optimize processes, and ensure high performance in our transactional operations.
Your Role:
As SAP Team Lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing a team handling essential SAP-based business processes in the order management and purchasing verticals, some of these processes incude:
- Raw material and tooling purchases
- Sales order entry and confirmations
- Invoice verification and billing document creation
- Daily operational transactions within the SAP ecosystem
You will lead the department independently, train new team members, ensure documentation is standardized and up to date, and foster a culture of accountability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and support a team of SAP end users in the Order Management and Purchasing departments
- Independently run departmental operations with a clear sense of ownership and accountability
- Train and onboard new employees in SAP processes and departmental procedures
- Develop and maintain SOPs, workflow documentation, and process standards
- Analyze and improve daily operations using SAP reports and Excel tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, logistics, and finance teams
- Ensure all purchasing and order-related transactions are completed accurately and on time
- Act as the department's decision-maker—proactive, quick, and accountable
Your Profile:
- Strong SAP background (ideally 5+ years), especially in logistics, purchasing, or order management
- Proven leadership experience—capable of managing people and department-level responsibilities
- Manufacturing experience preferred, ideally in plastics or similar production environments
- Native or bilingual proficiency in English; German is a must.
- Excellent Excel skills and solid experience using SAP reports.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and confident
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pick up company-specific SAP tasks quickly and transfer knowledge effectively to others
