Position Summary
Level: SAP Syniti Senior Consultant
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you'll do:
A Senior Consultant is expected to work within Data Team. This person will be primarily responsible for understanding functional requirements and input from Functional / Process teams and develop it into a technical design. He / She is expected to deliver development documentation, Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading Jobs and provide support to Process / Functional teams during Functional Unit Testing cycles. Apart from this the person is also expected to support Data cutover cycles.
- Collaborate with functional teams for issue resolution
- Working experience on BackOffice (DSP) Data Stewardship Platform (preferred) / Cransoft /SAP Data Services (BODS) / SQL Server Management Studio / SAP LSMW / SAP LTMC / SAP Migration cockpit / ETL.
- Including the design and build of discovery and extraction of legacy sources, scoping of records, mapping, transformation, loads.
- Proficient in Microsoft- SQL preferred: SQL query skills, comprehensive understanding of SQL Table structure and an understanding of relational databases.
- Data migration experience including proficiency in data analysis, data profiling and conversion planning for data migration activities using SAP ADM by Syniti/ Cransoft / BODS tool exposure
- Export file production, cleansing reports & experience with data migration functional design.
- System Administration of the DSP Platform (will be an advantage but not mandatory).
- Liaising with other capability leads to ensure cross skilling of DSP.
- Understanding of SAP and Non-SAP Technology Architecture.
- Exposure to HANA Queries and Analytics Tools
- Exposure to Expert level business-process knowledge associated with one or more of the following SAP functional modules: FI, CO, MM, SD, PM.

Must have Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- 6 to 10 years of experience in SAP Data Services (BODS)
- Experience in SAP ADM (Advance Data Migration) by Syniti
- Excellent knowledge of BODS & DSP (ETL)
- Experience in developing Data Migration Jobs (ETL) with Source or Target as SAP
- Should have thorough knowledge of ETL & Conversion objects
- Exposure / Understanding of Data Migration Process and Tools
- Pre-Load & Post-Load reports using Advanced Data Migration by Syniti
- Experience and knowledge in SQL Queries (SQL Server Management Studio)
- Understanding of SDLC
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
Good to have Skills:
- Should have worked in 2-3 Implementation projects as a part of Data Migration Team
- Experienced in End-to-End Data Migration (ETL) Projects with Target as SAP ERP involving dspMigrate (ADM by Syniti)
- Experience in conversion objects from various SAP domains such as FiCo, MM, SD, PI etc.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL Queries and experience in SQL Server Management Studio
- Skillful understanding of Data Migration Life Cycle
- Excellent documentation and ETL Skills
- Strong team player and ready to take ownership of various development objects
Education:
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
