SAP SuccessFactors EC / HCM Consultant Payroll, Time & Benefits
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors HCM Consultant with strong expertise in Employee Central (EC) Core, Payroll, Time Management, and Benefits. The consultant will support implementations, enhancements, integrations, and system upgrades, ensuring scalable and compliant HCM solutions.
This role requires hands-on configuration skills, strong client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Central (EC) Core
- Configure and support Employee Central modules including:
- Foundation Objects
- MDF Objects
- Business Rules
- Workflows
- Role-Based Permissions (RBP)
- Manage organizational structures, job architecture, and employee lifecycle processes
- Support EC upgrades, releases, and regression testing
Payroll
- Configure and support SAP SuccessFactors Payroll / ECP
- Manage payroll schemas, wage types, and calculations
- Support payroll integrations, validation, and reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Time Management
- Configure time profiles, work schedules, holiday calendars, and absence types
- Support time valuation, accruals, and integration with payroll
- Troubleshoot time evaluation and attendance issues
Benefits
- Configure benefits eligibility, enrollment rules, and plan structures
- Support benefits open enrollment and life event processing
- Integrate benefits providers and third-party vendors
Integrations & Data
- Design and support integrations between SAP SuccessFactors and third-party systems
- Support data migration, validation, and data consistency
- Work with SAP CPI / middleware for inbound and outbound interfaces
Testing & Support
- Support unit testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities
- Provide post-go-live stabilization and production support
- Create functional and technical documentation
Required Skills & Experience
- 36+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Employee Central Core
- Payroll (ECP)
- Time Management
- Benefits Administration
- Experience with implementations, upgrades, and production support
- Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance
- Experience with integrations and data migration
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP SuccessFactors certifications (EC, Payroll, Time)
- Experience with SAP CPI / Integration Center
- Global or multi-country implementation experience
- Agile or project-based delivery experience
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach
- Strong stakeholder and client management skill.
