An SAP Testing Manager oversees the end-to-end quality assurance, test strategy, and execution for SAP implementations (especially S/4HANA), upgrades, and migrations. Key responsibilities include creating test plans, managing defect resolution, coordinating offshore/onshore teams, and ensuring UAT sign-off. They require strong experience in SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD) and tools like Solution Manager, TOSCA, or Jira.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement SAP testing strategies, test plans, and test methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
Test Execution: Lead end-to-end testing cycles including SIT (System Integration Testing), Regression, Performance, and UAT.
Defect Management: Oversee defect triage, tracking, and resolution, ensuring high-quality releases.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between functional teams, developers, business stakeholders, and project leadership.
Resource & Team Management: Lead and mentor on-site/offshore testing teams, managing workload and performance.
Automation Strategy: Drive automation initiatives utilizing tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft, or CBTA.
Risk Management: Identify potential testing risks and issues, creating mitigation plans to avoid deployment delays.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 4+ years in IT, with at least 3-4 years in a dedicated SAP Test Manager or Lead role.
SAP Expertise: Proven experience with S/4HANA migrations, ECC, and core modules (e.g., SD, MM, FICO).
Tool Proficiency: Expertise in ALM tools (HP ALM/QC, Jira, SAP Solution Manager/Cloud ALM).
Leadership: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
