Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP SOM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BRIM to design, implement, and support subscription-based business solutions. The consultant will play a key role in delivering scalable SAP SOM implementations by working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and integration partners.

Key Responsibilities

Own and lead end-to-end SAP SOM (Subscription Order Management) implementations, covering requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and go-live.

Analyze complex subscription-based business models and design scalable SAP SOM solutions aligned with SAP BRIM best practices.

Configure and manage subscription products, pricing structures, contracts, master agreements, and complete order lifecycle flows, including creation, change, renewal, suspension, and termination.

Conduct fit-gap analysis, recommend optimal solutions, and prepare clear functional specifications for technical and integration teams.

Ensure seamless integration of SAP SOM with SAP CI, SAP CC, FI-CA, and SAP S/4HANA, collaborating closely with technical and middleware teams.

Support functional testing (SIT/UAT), defect resolution, and solution validation prior to deployment.

Provide go-live, hypercare, and post-go-live support, ensuring solution stability and business continuity.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and integration partners to deliver robust and scalable subscription solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of overall SAP functional experience.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP SOM and SAP BRIM.

Solid understanding of subscription lifecycle management and order orchestration.

Experience integrating SAP SOM with SAP CI, CC, FI-CA, and SAP S/4HANA.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

SAP BRIM / SOM certification.

Experience in telecom, utilities, media, or SaaS domains.

Exposure to Agile / SAFe delivery models.
