We are looking for a Senior DevOps Lead with expertise in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) to lead the development and execution of a scalable and efficient DevOps strategy. This role is responsible for managing DevOps tools, pipelines, automation frameworks, and guiding a high-performing team, ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations practices across SAP SD landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the DevOps strategy and roadmap in alignment with the organization's digital transformation goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, offering hands-on technical support and leadership.
- Establish best practices in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure as code (IaC), and deployment automation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development, security, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure alignment and successful solution delivery.
- Manage and integrate key DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Lead the design and implementation of automation for infrastructure provisioning and SAP SD application management.
- Ensure strict compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements in all DevOps practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across production, staging, and development environments.
- Champion a culture of innovation, automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in SAP SD module and strong understanding of SAP systems architecture.
- 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 3–5 years in DevOps leadership roles.
- Proven track record in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong experience in containerization (e.g., Docker), orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and ITIL frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP SD certification.
- Experience in regulated industries and working knowledge of security compliance frameworks.
- Prior experience in enterprise-scale SAP transformation or cloud migration projects.
