Role: SAP SD Solution Architect
Role Overview:
Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of SAP SD modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements, best practices, and industry standards. Translate complex business processes into robust SAP solutions with focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. e-Invoicing Implementation:
- Architect and implement e-invoicing solutions complying with country-specific regulations.
- Integrate third-party e-invoicing platforms with SAP SD.
- Ensure seamless data flow between internal systems and government/clearinghouse portals.
2. IDoc Management and Integration:
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot IDoc interfaces for efficient SAP-external system data exchange.
- Implement custom and standard IDoc types, manage error handling, and optimize performance.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and provide expert guidance.
4. Project Leadership:
- Lead and mentor SAP SD project teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (FI, MM, ABAP, Basis, PI/PO) for integrated solutions.
5. Compliance and Security:
- Ensure e-invoicing and IDoc processes adhere to legal, fiscal, and security standards.
- Stay updated on global e-invoicing mandates and adapt solutions proactively.
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze SAP SD processes for optimization opportunities.
- Implement enhancements for efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
- Introduce automation and analytical tools as needed.
7. Documentation and Training:
- Develop comprehensive documentation, guidelines, and training materials.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer for end-users and support teams.
