Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Functional Design & Architecture

  • Lead the end-to-end design of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) stream, including advanced pricing, rebates, and intercompany billing.
  • Conduct Fit-Gap analysis and Fit-to-Standard workshops for S/4HANA migrations.
  • Architect complex solutions involving ATP (Available-to-Promise), BRF+ (Business Rule Framework), and Output Management.
  • Provide expert guidance on integrating SD with Logistics (LE), Finance (FI/CO), and Production (PP).

2. Business Process Optimization

  • Act as a Trusted Advisor to the business, challenging legacy Z-developments in favor of SAP Standard/Clean Core principles.
  • Design and oversee the development of high-impact RICEFW objects where standard functionality does not meet critical business needs.
  • Lead the transition from traditional ECC structures to S/4HANA (e.g., Business Partner concept, Settlement Management).

3. Strategic Data & Cutover Support

  • Define the functional logic for data extraction and conversion (e.g., how legacy pricing maps to S/4HANA conditions).
  • Provide functional validation during data mock loads to ensure business continuity.
  • Support the Data Migration team by defining rules for Open Item migration and historical data requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in SAP SD; must have led at least 2 large-scale global templates or S/4HANA transformations.
  • Core Mastery: Deep expertise in Pricing Procedures, Credit Management (FSCM), Consignment, and Stock Transport Orders (STO).
  • S/4HANA Knowledge: Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Sales (1909 or later), including Fiori apps and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reporting.
  • Integration: Strong understanding of EDI/IDoc processing and API-based integrations with third-party logistics (3PL).
  • Leadership: Ability to manage a team of functional consultants and coordinate with offshore development centers.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Sales: Quotations, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, Returns (ARM).
  • Shipping: Delivery Processing, Picking, Packing, and Route Determination.
  • Billing: Milestone Billing, Down Payments, and Tax Determination (Vertex/Taxware).
  • Data: Familiarity with LTMC/LTMOM and data cleansing logic.
