Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
SAP SD Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in
SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution. The role involves end-to-end functional ownership, business process analysis, system configuration, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable SAP SD solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Analysis
- Analyze and understand business requirements related to Sales, Distribution, and Customer Service
- Conduct workshops to gather and document business requirements
- Identify process gaps and recommend optimized SAP-based solutions
SAP SD Configuration & Implementation- Design and configure SAP SD modules aligned with business needs
- Develop functional specifications and map business processes to SAP SD functionalities
- Configure and support core SD processes including:
- Sales Order Management
- Pricing
- Billing
- Customer Service
Testing & Support
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP SD-related issues
- Document functional designs, test cases, and test results
Project Delivery & Collaboration
- Participate in delivery of small to medium-sized SAP projects
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other SAP module consultants
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned deliverables
Leadership & Mentorship
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP SD
- Mentor and guide junior team members
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of SAP consulting experience with strong focus on SAP SD in S/4HANA
- Hands-on experience in designing, building, and integrating SAP SD processes
- Strong understanding of SAP SD configuration and integration with other SAP ERP modules
- Experience with testing methodologies and tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Exposure to Agile project methodologies
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SAP FI integration with SAP SD
- Formal SAP training or SAP certification (preferred but not mandatory)
Education
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred: Master's Degree
