Teamware Solutions is seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA ABAP Technical Developer to design, develop, and optimize custom solutions within the SAP S/4HANA environment. You'll play a critical role in leveraging the power of SAP HANA for performance enhancements and ensuring seamless integration with various SAP modules. This position is ideal for an experienced ABAP developer passionate about the latest SAP technologies and driving technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- ABAP Development in S/4HANA & HANA Optimization:
- Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) specific to the SAP S/4HANA platform.
- Leverage ABAP CDS views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and other HANA-specific ABAP techniques for performance optimization.
- Develop and modify Fiori applications and extend standard Fiori apps using SAPUI5 and OData services.
- Implement and debug complex ABAP code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices for S/4HANA.
- Technical Analysis & Solution Design:
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather and analyze technical requirements for S/4HANA implementations.
- Provide technical expertise in solution design, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability within the S/4HANA landscape.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Integration & Data Management:
- Develop and manage interfaces for data exchange with external systems using technologies relevant to S/4HANA (e.g., OData, REST APIs, IDocs).
- Assist in data migration strategies and execution for S/4HANA transitions.
- Troubleshooting & Support:
- Provide expert-level support for custom developments and standard functionalities in the SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs specific to HANA database interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with significant hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA projects.
- Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language and development tools.
- Demonstrated experience with ABAP CDS Views and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
- Familiarity with Fiori/SAPUI5 development and OData services.
- Solid understanding of the SAP HANA database and its architecture.
- Experience with various RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- SAP S/4HANA certification (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP for SAP S/4HANA).
- Experience with S/4HANA conversion or greenfield implementation projects.
- Knowledge of core SAP S/4HANA modules (e.g., Finance, Logistics).
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems in an SAP context.
