SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant to support and enhance finance processes within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. The role involves implementing and optimizing financial processes in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards, and enabling accurate cost and profitability tracking across product lines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance Process Design (Manufacturing-Focused)

- Product costing (standard & actual)

- Inventory valuation (batch-wise / serial-controlled)

- Manufacturing variance analysis

2. SAP Configuration & Implementation

- FI & CO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, CO-PA, CO-PC)

- Universal Journal (ACDOCA), parallel ledgers

3. Regulatory & Compliance

- FDA, ISO 13485, GST, IFRS/GAAP compliance

- Audit readiness, traceability, GxP environments

4. Integration

- MM, PP, QM modules

- Financial postings for goods movement & production

5. Costing & Profitability

- Product-level profitability

- BOM-based costing

- Variance & scrap analysis

6. Reporting

- P&L, Balance Sheet, cost reports

- SAP Fiori & analytics

Required Skills

- Strong SAP FI & CO expertise

- Manufacturing costing & inventory accounting

- Regulatory understanding (medical/pharma)

- Basic ABAP & interface knowledge

Qualifications

- Degree in Finance / Accounting / IT / Engineering

- CA / CMA / MBA preferred

- SAP S/4HANA certification is a plus

Experience

5–10 years in SAP FI/CO with at least 1–2 S/4HANA implementations and manufacturing experience.
