SAP QA Consultant

Primary skills

• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand requirements and design test cases.
• Perform integration testing and regression testing for SAP FICO Migrations / Enhancements in quality and Staging environments.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO module.
• Identify, document, and track issues and defects during testing phases including FUT, SIT
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Good knowledge in understanding the logistics Integration (FI-MM/FI-SD etc)
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices during the testing process.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of test results and defects.
• Provide support during user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployment.
• Review requirements / functional specifications and provide test cases .
• Knowledge on EDI, IDoc and Batch processing in FICO
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities .
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Experience in preparation, execution, validation, documentation of Test Scripts .
• Able to lead a team and own testing of a specific SAP module(s) including System Testing , SIT & UAT
• Review Test deliverables and ensure test coverage to requirements.
• Conduct Defect Triage meetings and manage defect closures.

Secondary Skills :

• Overall SAP testing experience of 6+ years .
• SAP S/4 HANA Certified preferred .
• Knowledge of SAP FICO and able to run SAP FICO QA testing independently.
• Proven work experience in software testing
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Be willing to help teammates, share your knowledge with them .
• Having knowledge on JIRA and Test rail tools.
