Associate is responsible for designing and optimizing SAP solutions that support project management processes, including planning, execution, and financial accounting. They collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional system designs and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
· Implementation & Configuration: Lead or support the full lifecycle of SAP PS implementation, including blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, and go-live.
· Business Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for project structures and reporting.
· Module Customization: Configure and customize core PS elements such as Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Networks, Milestones, and Project Coding.
· Financial & Resource Planning: Manage cost planning, budgeting, revenue planning, and availability controls within the system.
· System Integration: Ensure the PS module integrates effectively with Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Human Resources (HR/CATS).
· Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing functional support, identify system issues, and implement fixes to maintain system performance.
· Documentation & Training: Prepare functional specifications (RICEFW), user manuals, and training materials, and conduct training sessions for end-users.
