Job Purpose

PHINIA is seeking a SAP Procure to Pay (P2P) Analyst to support and enhance SAP processes across purchasing, supplier management, goods receipt, invoice processing, and procurement compliance. This role works closely with the Lead P2P Architect, business teams, and IT stakeholders to ensure stable operations, deliver functional enhancements, support ERP projects, and contribute to PHINIA's SAP S/4HANA and cloud transformation. The Analyst will also leverage SAP Joule AI to accelerate problem‑solving, insights, and continuous improvement across the P2P value stream.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end‑to‑end execution of the SAP Procure to Pay workstream including configuration support, IDoc/EDI/interface monitoring, forms/labels, security role updates, testing, L2/L3 escalation coordination, and service request management — using SAP Joule AI to enhance troubleshooting and insight generation.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, Vendor Management, and Manufacturing teams to capture requirements, resolve issues, and improve P2P business processes using AI‑assisted analysis and pattern recognition.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to deliver operational fixes, enhancements, integration changes, and transformation outcomes for the P2P value stream.
  • Develop effort estimates, functional specs, deployment plans, and contribute to P2P project leadership — leveraging Joule AI to summarize impacts, propose test scenarios, and identify dependencies.
  • Support next‑generation P2P solutions on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP (Integration Suite/CPI, extensions, workflows, APIs), using Joule AI for quick insight lookups and solution guidance.
  • Maintain and update Solution Manager / SAP Cloud ALM documentation, including process flows, configuration records, runbooks, test scripts, and P2P master data domain governance — assisted by Joule AI content generation.
  • Support accuracy and governance of P2P master data (vendors, purchasing info records, source lists, pricing conditions, release strategies, material master purchasing views).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integrations across EDI, CPI/PI/PO, supplier portals, warehouse systems, finance/AP tools, and vendor networks — using Joule AI for error categorization and resolution suggestions.
  • Support S/4HANA transformation activities including fit‑to‑standard workshops, simplification item reviews, SIT/UAT cycles, data validation, cutover planning, and hypercare.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements, SoD, access governance, procurement controls, and corporate policies — using Joule AI to surface anomalies or evidence gaps.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement via workflow optimization, automation scripts, exception reduction, KPIs, and Joule AI–driven process optimization insights.
  • Perform ad‑hoc activities to support ERP operations, new tool evaluations, and broader P2P or supply chain digital initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain IT, or related discipline
  • 3–6+ years of experience in SAP Procure to Pay processes (MM, Purchasing, Inventory Management, AP touchpoints).
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP configuration basics in purchasing, goods receipt, vendor management, release strategies, invoice processing, and procurement flows.
  • Experience with IDoc/EDI, vendor portals, and troubleshooting procurement integrations (CPI/PI/PO, APIs).
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA P2P simplifications, Fiori apps, and next‑gen procurement capabilities.
  • Experience supporting P2P master data (vendors, PIRs, source lists, pricing, material purchasing views).
  • Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change) in an ERP environment.
  • Automotive or manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with or openness to learning SAP Joule AI for guided troubleshooting and insight lookup
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving ability.
  • Effective communicator with business and IT teams.
  • Responsible, reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to manage tasks independently
  • SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement certification (C_TS452)— preferred.
