Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Consultant to join our team in Thane. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end configuration, process optimization, and production support within the SAP PP and QM modules. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and system capabilities, ensuring smooth manufacturing and quality operations.
Key Responsibilities
- System Configuration: Expertly configure SAP PP (BOM, Routing, Work Centers, MRP, Capacity Planning) and QM (Quality Planning, Inspection Methods, Results Recording, Quality Notifications).
- Business Process Mapping: Facilitate workshops to map complex manufacturing and quality processes to SAP standard functionalities.
- Solution Design: Develop detailed Functional Specifications (FSDs) for custom enhancements and RICEFW objects, collaborating closely with ABAP developers.
- Cross-Module Integration: Manage seamless data flow between PP/QM and other key modules, specifically MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and FICO.
- Support & Issue Resolution: Provide L2/L3 functional support, troubleshooting production issues, and performing root cause analysis for system errors.
- Testing: Lead SIT, UAT, and regression testing to ensure high system quality before deployments.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in SAP PP and QM modules.
- Project History: Minimum of 2 full-cycle implementations and active involvement in post-go-live support projects.
- Ready for 12 months contract role in Thane
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with S/4HANA (preferred) or ECC. Knowledge of Fiori apps is a significant advantage.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (Discrete, Repetitive, or Process industries).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in Thane/Mumbai region.
- Availability: Must be able to work on a contract basis and be available for on-site presence in Thane.
