SAP PPDS

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage daily batch jobs related to SAP PP and PP-DS processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve errors in scheduled background jobs related to intercompany movements (US to Canada), inventory adjustments, variance reports, production planning and order creation.
• Manage Stock Transport Requisition (STR) creation for both single and mixed loads and perform date reconciliation for multi-line STRs.
• Schedule dunnage runs and create related production orders.
• Validate and update settlement receivers.
• Update planning board and handle exception messages.
• Manage Stock Transport Orders (STOs) for Third-Party Logistics Operator (TLO) runs and coordinate TLO execution.
• Update and release production orders.
• Verify SAP to MES integration for production order confirmations.
• Manage STR to STO conversion processes and validate data accuracy in custom tables for delivery and shipping updates.
• Liaise with business users to understand issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Document and escalate recurring errors, proposing long-term solutions.
• Assist with end-to-end process testing, data validations, and planning cycle activities.
• Provide functional support during cutover, hypercare, and post-go-live activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP PP and/or PP-DS, preferably in manufacturing or CPG environments.
• Hands-on experience with intercompany production flows, production order management, and supply chain integration points such as MES, MM, and SD.
• Strong knowledge of STR, STO, TLO, and dunnage processes within SAP.
• Ability to independently triage and resolve batch job failures and system errors.
• Experience working with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA platforms.
• Familiarity with custom tables and data validation techniques in SAP.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to interact with technical and functional stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, distributed team environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting SAP-MES integration and production execution verification.
• Background in SAP APO or PP/DS heuristic planning and planning board usage.
• Prior involvement in SAP implementation, rollout, or support projects across US and Canada operations.
