Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP PP/DS Consultant with 8+ years of relevant experience to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP PP/DS within SAP S/4HANA or APO environments and the ability to work independently on complex planning and scheduling requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support SAP PP/DS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling) implementations and rollouts
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into PP/DS solutions
- Configure and customize PP/DS planning strategies, heuristics, and optimization
- Integrate PP/DS with SAP modules such as MM, SD, QM, and WM/EWM
- Handle master data setup (PDS, resources, products, BOMs, production versions)
- Support S/4HANA PP/DS embedded planning or APO PP/DS
- Perform system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and provide production support
- Work closely with business users to resolve planning and scheduling issues
- Prepare functional specifications and support technical developments
- Provide knowledge transfer and user training when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in SAP PP/DS
- Strong experience in SAP APO PP/DS or S/4HANA embedded PP/DS
- In-depth knowledge of production planning, detailed scheduling, and manufacturing processes
- Hands-on experience with heuristics, optimization, and capacity planning
- Strong integration knowledge with MM, SD, and other SAP modules
- Experience in support, rollout, or implementation projects
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to join immediately or within a short notice period
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in S/4HANA conversions or brownfield/greenfield implementations
- Exposure to advanced planning scenarios and industry best practices
- SAP PP/DS certification (added advantage)
