Our client, a leading global healthcare company, seeks a
SAP PPDS Consultant to drive the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) solutions. This role focuses on enhancing production planning processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing SAP modules, and improving operational efficiency.
This is a contractual role, renewable every 6 months based on performance. The candidate must be flexible to work in the client's preferred timezone, which may include EST or CEST.
The Role.- Design, configure, and implement SAP PPDS solutions to optimize production planning, scheduling, and execution processes.
- Lead the integration of SAP PPDS with other SAP modules such as SAP PP, MM, and QM to ensure seamless data flow and system consistency.
- Develop and customize production planning workflows, alerts, and reports to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform system troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning for SAP PPDS applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, integration specifications, and user manuals.
- Conduct training sessions for IT teams and end-users to ensure effective adoption and usage of SAP PPDS solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP PPDS features, updates, and industry best practices to recommend and implement system enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a SAP PPDS Consultant, with a focus on implementation and configuration.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP PPDS and its integration with SAP PP, MM, and QM modules.
- Strong expertise in production planning processes, capacity planning, and detailed scheduling.
- Proficiency in SAP configuration, customization, and scripting.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with global teams and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work in EST or CEST time zones as required by the client.
