Job Description

AMK Group is looking for an experienced and highly skilled SAP PP/QM Professional to join our dynamic team. This role requires a robust background in both Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules, with a proven track record in end-to-end implementations, preferably in S/4HANA. You'll be instrumental in designing, configuring, testing, and supporting SAP solutions, while effectively interacting with clients and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Module Expertise: Apply 8+ years of relevant experience in SAP PP and QM Modules, with at least 4+ years in SAP PP and 2-3 years of domain experience.
  • Implementation Lifecycle: Lead and participate in 1-2 end-to-end SAP implementations (S/4HANA preferable), encompassing requirements understanding, system design, development, testing, training, and support procedure definition.
  • SAP PP Proficiency: Demonstrate strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP PP, including:
  • SOP (Sales and Operations Planning)
  • Flexible Planning
  • Capacity Planning
  • Variant Configuration
  • CBP (Consumption-Based Planning)
  • Discrete Manufacturing
  • REM (Repetitive Manufacturing)
  • LTP (Long-Term Planning)
  • Engineering Change Management
  • Batch Management
  • PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries) processes.
  • SAP QM Proficiency: Exhibit strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP QM module, covering:
  • Master data (e.g., Master Inspection Characteristics, Catalogs, Code Groups)
  • Batch Management
  • Quality Notifications
  • Sample Management
  • Quality Inspection Plans
  • Quality Certificates
  • Stability Study
  • Deadline Monitoring
  • Vendor Evaluation
  • Quality in Procurement, Production (In-process inspection), and Sales
  • Calibration.
  • Master Data & MRP: In-depth knowledge of Master Data (Bill of Materials, Work Centers/Resources, Routings/Recipe, Production Versions, Inspection Plan) and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) configuration and integration with Procurement and Sales & Distribution.
  • Production Order Execution: Experience with Order Confirmation, Goods Issue, Goods Receipt, and Backflushing processes.
  • Functional Specifications & ABAP Coordination: Write clear Functional Specifications and coordinate effectively with the ABAP team for new functionalities, followed by thorough testing.
  • Cross-Module Integration: Possess mandatory integration knowledge with FI, CO, SD, MM, and PM modules.
  • Support & Training: Participate in support projects, user training workshops, documentation, and handle day-to-day issues.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Overall Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in SAP PP and QM modules.
  • Module Specifics:Must have 4+ years of SAP PP Experience with at least 2-3 years of Domain experience.
  • Must have experience in both PP and QM modules.
  • Implementation Experience: Should have executed 1-2 End-to-End Implementations (S/4HANA preferable).
  • Technical Knowledge: Expertise in requirements understanding, system design, development, testing methodologies, training, and support procedures.
  • ERP System: Experience with ECC 6.0.
  • Applications: Proficient with MS Visio and Microsoft Office Package.

Good to Have

  • Hands-on experience and good knowledge in SAP S/4HANA configuration, migration, and Fiori applications on latest HANA releases.

  • Ability to work in a vibrant environment, encouraging creativity in problem-solving.
  • Ability to effectively interact with client partners, C-suite leadership teams, and cross-functional process and application teams.

  • Average communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Willingness to travel anytime, anywhere, as per business needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • BE/B.Tech with 2-3 years experience in domain functions.
