JD for PP & QM consultant with 15+ years of experience
1. 15+ Years of strong SAP Production Planning (PP) experience which include min 2 end to
end implementations and support projects
2. Should have very good knowledge on the business processes associated with SAP PP for
discrete manufacturing environment and repetitive manufacturing environment

3. Configuration and working experience on Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO)
strategies.
4. Configure and maintain PP master data like BOM, Article master, routing, and Work centres.
5. Should have extensively worked on material requirements planning, Stock requirement list,
production order execution, shop floor controls.
6. Extensively worked on ABAP debugging, technical and functional specifications, SAP query.
7. The SAP Production Planning Consultant is directly responsible for delivery of SAP
Production Planning (PP) module functional services.
8. Should have good knowledge and experience in SAP PP configuration and the business
process associated with it.
9. Strong sense of problem solving and be able to deal with integration issues
10. Should be able prepare the Functional specifications and co-ordinate with Technical team for
development and testing activities.
11. Responsible for the configuration of SAP Quality Management area to meet the
business requirement to enhance the quality management process.
12. Should have expertise in SAP QM Master Data and Processes : SAP QM master data,
Material master view, Inspection type, Sampling procedure, Inspection plan, Inspection
method, Incoming inspection. Process mapping, system configuration.
13. Detailed knowledge in PM processes like - Maintenance Notifications, Maintenance Orders
and Preventive Maintenance.
14. Having ABAP development skills would be an added advantage.
15. Knowledge of pre-pack and HU process is must.
