Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant with strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience in interfaces and integrations. The candidate should be well-versed in core manufacturing processes and able to work closely with technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end implementation and support of SAP PP module
- Strong understanding of Discrete and Repetitive Manufacturing processes
- Hands-on experience in Demand Management, MRP, Production Orders, Order Confirmation, Backflushing, REM, and Product Cost Collector
- Experience with Material & Operation Subcontracting
- Involvement in business requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design
- Work closely with ABAP/Technical teams for interfaces, enhancements, and custom developments
- Support testing (UT, SIT, UAT) and user training activities
Interface & Integration Skills (Mandatory):
- Hands-on experience with IDOC / EDI / ALE interfaces
- Experience working with SAP PP integrations with MM, SD, QM, and external systems
- Exposure to third-party system integrations and interface monitoring
- Ability to analyze interface failures and coordinate with technical teams for resolution
Technical & Data Skills:
- Experience with LSMW / BDC / Mass Data Uploads
- Basic debugging knowledge and ability to read functional specs
- Exposure to enhancements, user exits, and custom reports (functional perspective)
Good to Have:
- Experience working with overseas clients (Europe / US regions)
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PP
- Knowledge of PP-PI is an added advantage
