Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled SAP PM Consultant to join our SAP team. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) with hands-on experience in maintenance planning, work order management, preventive maintenance, asset management, and integration with other SAP modules. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective SAP PM solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, configuration, implementation, and enhancement of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) solutions.
- Work on maintenance planning, work order management, notification processing, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Configure and support asset master data, task lists, maintenance plans, and scheduling in SAP PM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of SAP PM with MM, FI/CO, PS, and HR modules.
- Assist in business requirement analysis and translate requirements into effective SAP PM solutions.
- Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, user training, and functional documentation.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and work closely with technical teams.
- Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives related to PM.
- Ensure high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction while following best practices.
- Support end-users with training, issue resolution, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in SAP PM implementation and support projects.
- Strong functional knowledge of Plant Maintenance processes, including corrective, preventive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Experience working in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
- Hands-on experience with PM integration with MM (Procurement), FI/CO (Costing), PS (Projects), and HR.
- Good understanding of maintenance cost controlling, asset lifecycle management, and reporting.
- Experience across project phases including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to take initiative in solution design and implementation.
- Knowledge of reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
- Good Microsoft Office and Windows skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology or other SAP project implementation frameworks.
- SAP certification in PM or related modules.
- Exposure to Agile or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
