Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure SAP PaPM models to support business profitability and performance analysis.
  • Design and deliver solutions in SAP CO including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
  • Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Develop and maintain business rules, functions, and logic within the SAP PaPM modeling framework.
  • Integrate PaPM with SAP S/4HANA or ECC modules (FI, CO, BW) and non-SAP data sources.
  • Perform data validation, testing, and debugging of PaPM models and reports.
  • Provide user training and support during UAT and post-go-live phases.
  • Contribute to project documentation, solution design, and ongoing support activities.
  • Stay updated on SAP innovations and best practices related to PaPM and controlling.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Controlling (CO) and at least 12 years hands-on experience in SAP PaPM.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, cost allocations, and profitability analysis.
  • Experience with SAP FICO, BW/4HANA, or S/4HANA is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in designing data models, rules, and functions in SAP PaPM.
  • Familiarity with SAP HANA modeling, SQL scripting, and integration with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Certification in SAP FICO or PaPM.
  • Experience in performance optimization and scenario modeling in SAP PaPM.
  • Knowledge of SAP BPC, Group Reporting, or SAC Planning.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional project teams.
  • Prior experience in consulting or large transformation projects.
