Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of SDLC and STLC, experience with manual testing techniques, and hands-on exposure to SAP SD/MM testing. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions through rigorous test planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write efficient test plans and test cases that cover all logic paths.
- Perform various types of manual testing, including smoke, sanity, and retesting.
- Report and track bugs to ensure timely resolution.
- Execute tests and document results in coordination with QA and development teams.
- Conduct SAP SD / MM module testing as per functional requirements.
- Analyze test results to identify patterns or issues, and recommend improvements.
- Understand application functionality before initiating the testing phase.
- Prepare test cases for all identified test scenarios in advance.
- Ensure adherence to in-house quality procedures and industry standards.
- Assess customer requirements and validate software quality accordingly.
- Participate in QA meetings and reviews to enhance processes and coverage.
- Support the implementation of effective and fair QA practices.
- Maintain awareness of deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet project goals.
Requirements:
- 05 years of experience as a Software Tester.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in SAP SD / MM module testing.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques.
- Familiarity with test documentation practices and QA tools.
- Knowledge of UI testing, test-driven development, and automation (basic exposure).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with a focus on finding bugs and edge cases quickly.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
