Role Description

This is a full time contract role for a SAP MM/PP Solution Architect based in Hyderabad, with some flexibility for remote work. The SAP MM/PP Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing SAP solutions in the MM (Materials Management) and PP (Production Planning) modules. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with stakeholders, understanding business requirements, developing effective solutions, overseeing software integration processes, and ensuring seamless implementation to optimize business processes. Act as a PP and MM consultant and lead on assigned SAP implementation projects who will implement required functionality. Works with business partners on small enhancement or larger projects to resolve process issues or meet new business requirements while maintaining an SAP best practice approach to reduce custom code. You should be able to take requests from and/or provide system / process improvement ideas to your business partners.

• Strong expertise in Solution Architecture and designing scalable, effective SAP MM/PP solutions
• Document business requirements
• Perform analysis and functional and/or technical design and estimate solution for implementation while coordinating with technical / development resources.
• Charter project and send through governance to obtain project resources and establish timing
• Perform configuration for modules in your area of responsibility
• Test solution during development to determine areas of improvement
• Coordinate or assist with data gathering, data review, data loads and process education
• Implement solution into production system
• Support business partners during hyper care immediately after go-live of new functionality

Qualifications

• Overall 10+ Years of business and IT experience
• 5+ years of SAP PP/PI (Process Industry) Production processes and MM Purchasing and Inventory Management module project implementation experience
• 5+ years integration experience with other process areas
• 5+ years experience on SAP implementation projects
• Experience configuring multiple SAP modules OR experience across multiple industries such as Food, Chemicals, Life Sciences, Pharma, Oil & Gas etc.
• Experience in multiple, full lifecycle SAP implementations
• Prior experience as Supply Chain User is desirable
