What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field of study
- 4+ years of experience working with SAP MES/DM solutions in a manufacturing environment (Digital Manufacturing, MII, PCo, or related modules).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor systems
- Proficiency in SAP DM architecture, UI5/Fiori applications, and cloud-based deployments
- Experience integrating MES with SAP ERP (PP, QM, MM)
- Solid programming skills in Core Java, JavaScript, SQL, and SAP-specific technologies
- Familiarity with REST APIs, OData services, and edge device connectivity
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
What you'll do
- Providing end-to-end support for SAP MES/DM applications will be a key part of your role, as you handle incident resolution, service requests, and performance tuning.
- As part of your day-to-day work, you will design, develop, and deploy enhancements, customizations, and integrations within SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) and MES platforms.
- In close collaboration with business users, functional teams, and technical stakeholders, you will gather requirements and deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
- By monitoring system health and identifying potential issues early, you ensure high availability and stability across the environment.
- During change management processes, release cycles, and system upgrades, you will contribute to smooth transitions and continuous improvement.
- In addition, you will document technical specifications, support procedures, and user manuals to strengthen transparency and reusability.
- Finally, you will mentor junior team members and actively support knowledge sharing within the team.
