Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
SAP MDG Technical Consultant with strong expertise in
SAP Master Data Governance technical development, OO ABAP, SAP S/4HANA, and FPM-based enhancements.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in
SAP MDG technical implementations, custom developments, workflow enhancements, UI configurations, and technical support activities, with the ability to work closely with functional teams for enterprise master data governance solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for technical consultants who have worked on
complex SAP MDG build, enhancement, rollout, or support projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance SAP MDG technical objects and custom solutions
- Work on SAP MDG data model enhancements, validations, derivations, and workflow-related developments
- Build and support OO ABAP based custom technical objects
- Perform FPM configurations, custom UI enhancements, and feeder class developments
- Work on SAP S/4HANA integrated MDG technical architecture
- Support interfaces, BRF+, custom services, and master data governance workflows
- Troubleshoot technical defects and support SIT/UAT/go-live activities
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business teams for requirement understanding and technical delivery
- Prepare technical design documents and development specifications

Mandatory Skills / Must Have (Strict Screening Criteria)Core SAP MDG Technical Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Technical Development
- Experience in SAP MDG implementation / enhancement / support projects
- Good understanding of MDG technical framework and custom developments
OO ABAP
- Strong expertise in Object Oriented ABAP
- Hands-on experience in custom classes, methods, BADIs, enhancements, reports, and technical objects
SAP S/4HANA
- Working experience in SAP S/4HANA integrated environments
- Good understanding of master data structures and S/4HANA technical landscape
FPM (Floorplan Manager)
- Mandatory hands-on experience in FPM configuration and customization
- Experience in feeder class enhancements and MDG UI customization
⭐ Preferred / Good To Have Skills
Candidates with below exposure will be highly preferred:
- Hands-on experience in Webdynpro ABAP
- Exposure to BRF+
- SAP MDG Workflow enhancements
- Interface integration exposure
- Experience in data validations, derivations, and replication framework
- Knowledge of SAP MDG on Material / Customer / Vendor domains
Required Skill Level
- Professional hands-on project experience in all mandatory technologies
- Candidate should be able to work independently on technical developments and issue resolution

Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is best suited for technical consultants who have worked deeply on
SAP MDG custom technical development rather than generic ABAP support, and who can independently manage
MDG enhancements, FPM development, OO ABAP objects, and S/4HANA technical integration tasks.
