Our client, supporting a top healthcare company, seeks a SAP MDG Material Master, who will be responsible for managing and optimizing material master data governance processes. This role involves ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline material data workflows.
This is a remote contractual role with initial length of 6 months and depending on the performance it will be extended. Candidates must be able to support EST/CET hours.
Job Description.
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP MDG Material Master solutions.
- Ensure data governance policies and procedures are followed for material master data.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and align solutions with business needs.
- Manage data migration, cleansing, and validation activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in SAP MDG.
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP MDG processes.
- Work closely with IT and functional teams to integrate SAP MDG with other enterprise systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP MDG, with a focus on Material Master.
- Hands-on experience in SAP MDG configuration, data modeling, and workflow design.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
