SAP MDG Consultant / Data Governance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Consultant with strong expertise in data governance and SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing master data governance solutions, ensuring data quality, compliance, and consistency across business domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement SAP MDG solutions aligned with business and data governance requirements
• Work on SAP S/4HANA integration and master data management processes
• Define and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and standards
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality
• Manage data models, workflows, and cross-domain dependencies (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance)
• Support data migration, cleansing, and harmonization initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, especially in pharma/life sciences environments
• Create reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Excel

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in SAP MDG and SAP S/4HANA
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management
• Knowledge of data models, workflows, and process governance
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple data domains
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)

Good to Have:

• Experience in pharmaceutical / life sciences industry
• Familiarity with GxP / regulatory environments
• Exposure to SAP Information Steward / Data Services
