We are looking for a SAP MM Consultant – Mumbai. This is a 6 months contract position.
What You ll Do
- You will join our high-performance SAP consulting team and act as the primary Materials Management functional owner for the Source-to-Pay (S2P) implementation programme.
- Configure and manage SAP MM purchasing structures including purchasing organizations, purchasing groups, release strategies, document types, and procurement workflows.
- Own and validate upstream procurement integrations between Procol and SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8.
- Manage vendor master and material master migration activities across SAP ECC, Microsoft Dynamics AX, and Procol Supplier Portal.
- Configure source list, approved vendor list (AVL), quota arrangement, and purchasing info records aligned with procurement and sourcing processes.
- Configure goods receipt and inventory management processes including MIGO movement types, batch management, split valuation, and storage location determination.
- Configure HSN/SAC code mapping, GST procedures, e-way bill trigger conditions, and India specific procurement compliance processes.
- Collaborate with SAP ABAP Consultants and Integration Architects for custom developments, BAPIs, user exits, and integration touchpoints.
- Validate three-way match scenarios, GR/IR clearing processes, and procurement reconciliation activities.
- Lead SIT, UAT, negative path testing, cutover planning, and hypercare support for MM relevant S2P processes.
- Support procurement process optimization for raw materials, MRO, CAPEX, contract services, and import procurement categories.
What We Seek In You
- 6+ years of hands-on SAP MM-PUR configuration experience.
- Strong expertise in BAPI_PO_CREATE1 and BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE with field level understanding.
- Hands on experience in SAP MM purchasing, inventory management, and goods receipt configuration.
- Strong experience in batch management configuration, preferably within Chemical Manufacturing environments.
- Experience configuring release strategies including multi-level and value-based approvals.
- Strong experience in vendor master and material master migration activities.
- Hands on expertise in HSN/SAC code mapping and GST configuration within SAP MM.
- Experience configuring source lists, quota arrangements, approved vendor lists, and purchasing info records.
- Strong understanding of GR/IR clearing and three-way match processes.
- Experience working on SAP ECC 6.0 EHP7/EHP8 full cycle implementations.
- Hands on experience in UAT scripting, execution, and procurement scenario testing.
- Experience working with manufacturing industry projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba or Procol platform integration is an added advantage.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA MM migration concepts is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP QM, SAP WM/EWM, SAP PP-PI, or SAP EHS modules is preferred.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
