Configuration & Customization: Design, customize, configure, and test SAP MM functionalities to meet business requirements.
Support & Enhancements: Provide ongoing system support (Level 2/3), troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement minor enhancements.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, and end-user training materials following established quality standards (e.g., SDLC, ITIL guidelines).
Testing & QA: Lead or actively participate in testing efforts (Unit Testing, UAT support, Regression Testing), ensuring all changes are thoroughly tested and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Business Interaction: Work closely with business users to gather requirements, provide solutions, and facilitate user acceptance testing and training.
Integration: Understand integration points between MM and other core SAP modules (SD, FI/CO, PP, WM)
Experience Required:
Total Experience: 8+ years of total experience.
SAP Experience: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated SAP MM implementation & support experience.
Implementations: Minimum 1 full lifecycle end-to-end SAP MM implementation required.
Core Skills & Knowledge:
Configuration Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP MM configuration, including Procurement to Pay (P2P), Inventory Management (IM), Master Data (Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Records, Source Lists), Pricing Procedures, and logistics invoice verification (LIV).
Business Process Knowledge: Sound understanding of business processes around material handling, purchasing, procurement strategies, and replenishment.
Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Prior experience in Retail, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industries is an advantage.
Technical/Functional Skills: Ability to write functional specifications for custom developments (RICEF objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying system improvements.
Communication: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player.
Desirable Add-ons:
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MM, SAP WM (Warehouse Management), or exposure to new dimension areas like SAP BTP/CPI.
