We are looking for a Junior SAP Basis Consultant/Administrator with experience in SAP HANA. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration and work closely with senior SAP professionals.
Responsibilities:
- The role includes occasional on-call responsibilities, interaction with clients for consultation, project execution, SAP landscape performance tuning, and other activities associated with support of SAP environments.
- Work closely with OS and Database Administrators to ensure optimal SAP system performance.
- Must have detailed knowledge of all SAP authorization components.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, including the SAP application layer and SAP HANA database.
- Apply knowledge of SAP HANA databases to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of SAP systems.
- Monitor SAP systems and SAP HANA databases, proactively identifying potential issues and optimizing system resources.
- Assist in planning and executing SAP system and OS upgrades, patches, and service packs, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to best practices.
- Investigate and resolve SAP system and SAP HANA database-related issues, including performance problems, connectivity errors, and data inconsistencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of SAP system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with SAP developers, functional consultants, and infrastructure teams to ensure efficient and effective utilization of system resources.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in SAP Basis administration and SAP HANA database management, and actively share knowledge with the team.
