Role: SAP ISU Technical
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance ABAP programs tailored to utility-specific processes including meter data management, consumption billing, and outage reporting.
- • Customize and support ISU modules such as Device Management (DM), Customer Service (CS), with a focus on regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. Implement and maintain interfaces with smart meter systems, external billing engines, and mobile workforce platforms.
- • Collaborate with functional teams to translate energy business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- • Support data migration and integration efforts during system upgrades or utility mergers.
- • Ensure high performance and reliability of ISU applications in a regulated utility environment.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- • 3-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with at least 2+ years in SAP ISU for utilities.
- • Strong understanding of utility business processes such as meter reading, service orders, and tariff-based billing.
- Experience with smart grid integration, interval data processing, and energy data analytics is highly desirable.
- • Proficiency in ABAP Objects, ALV Reports, Enhancements, BAPI, BADI, and Web Services (OData).
- • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements in the energy sector (e.g., NEM, AEMO in Australia).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
