Job Description:

We are seeking a SAP IS-U Functional Expert to lead and support utility business process implementations and enhancements across Meter-to-Cash (M2C) functions. The role involves working directly with stakeholders to configure and optimize SAP IS-U modules to meet business and regulatory needs in the utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end configuration and support of SAP IS-U modules including Billing & Invoicing, Device Management (DM), FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable), and associated processes.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP IS-U functional solutions.

Configure billing schemas, rate structures, meter-to-cash workflows, master data, and integrations.

Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP/integration) to deliver seamless solutions and enhancements.

Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios, and user training materials.

Support testing (Unit, SIT, UAT) and production deployments with issue resolution and validation.

Required Skills & Experience:

3+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP IS-U Functional Consultant with at least one full lifecycle implementation.

Strong functional knowledge of billing, DM, FICA, and meter-to-cash utility processes.

Solid understanding of utility industry operations (electric, gas, water) and regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities conversions or implementations.

SAP Utilities certification or similar industry credentials
