Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-Retail Consultant to support and deliver end-to-end SAP Retail solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP IS-Retail and SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR), with deep exposure to POS integrations, omnichannel retail processes, and S/4HANA Retail environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end solution design, configuration, and implementation of SAP IS-Retail
- Work extensively on SAP CAR components, including:
- POS Data Transfer and Audit (POS DTA)
- Omnichannel Promotion Pricing (OPP)
- Unified Demand Forecasting (UDF)
- Inventory Visibility
- Manage POS system integrations, including inbound/outbound mapping, monitoring, and error handling
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design optimized retail business processes
- Support project lifecycle activities including:
- Incident management
- Enhancements
- SIT/UAT testing
- Cutover planning and go-live support
- Handle SAP CAR version upgrades and system enhancements
- Ensure performance optimization and stability of CAR and HANA-based solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 510 years of overall SAP experience with at least 3+ years in SAP IS-Retail
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP CAR (POS DTA, OPP, UDF, Inventory Visibility)
- Proven experience in POS system integration with SAP
- Deep understanding of:
- Retail master data
- Article hierarchy
- Pricing and promotions
- Stock and inventory processes
- Good knowledge of integration technologies used in retail landscapes
- Strong communication, documentation, and client-facing skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with S/4HANA Retail
- Exposure to omnichannel retail scenarios and retail analytics
- Strong understanding of SAP CAR architecture
- Knowledge of HANA performance tuning and optimization.
