Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Architect with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and Event Mesh (including Advanced Event Mesh).
The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, secure, and event-driven integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Architecture & Design
- Define and implement integration strategies using SAP CPI Integration Suite and SAP BTP services
- Design event-driven solutions leveraging SAP Event Mesh and Advanced Event Mesh
- Ensure scalability, security, and high availability across integration landscapes
Development & Configuration
- Build and configure iFlows in SAP CPI for SAP and third-party systems
- Implement API Management, secure connectivity, and standard integration patterns
Event Mesh Expertise
- Configure and manage SAP Event Mesh for real-time messaging
- Implement Advanced Event Mesh for complex hybrid integration scenarios
Governance & Best Practices
- Establish integration standards, security guidelines, and performance benchmarks
- Work closely with functional and technical teams to align with SAP best practices
Innovation & Optimization
- Leverage advanced SAP Integration Suite and BTP features
- Recommend architectural improvements to enhance performance and efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
Technical
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP CPI Integration Suite, SAP BTP, and Event Mesh
- Knowledge of Advanced Event Mesh, MQTT, AMQP, and event-driven architecture
- Experience with API Management, OAuth, SAML, and secure integration patterns
Experience
- 8+ years in SAP integration projects
- 3+ years on SAP BTP / CPI
- Experience designing hybrid (on-prem + cloud) integration landscapes
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Preferred
- SAP Certified Development Associate SAP Integration Suite
