Job Description SAP Integration Architect (BTP)
The ideal candidate, have a proven track record of implementing and supporting SAP
Integration Suite (CPI) module with excellent knowledge of business processes and best
practices in Retail Electronics industry.
As a SAP Integration Suite (CPI), the candidate will be the subject matter expert in SAP BTP
& PIPO modules, with in-depth knowledge of Integrations. Will be responsible for
understanding business requirements, documenting requirements and providing solutions.
Objectives of this role
- Supporting the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of integrations.
- Participating in global projects, such as the migration from SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite.
- Advising solution architects on best practices for integration architectures.
- Developing concepts for secure and robust operation of the integration landscape.
- Continuously optimizing existing integration processes and technical architectures.
- Proven expertise in developing Enterprise-Grade, robust iflows for SAP , non-SAP
- Expertise in Integration scenarios using different adapters such as HTTP, IDOC, JDBC, File, SOAP, Rest, Odata , Graph, etc
- Assisting with integration-related activities connected to SAP systems, Fiori and SAP
- S/4HANA platform (experience in this area is a plus.)
- Worked closely with functional team to ensure all the interfaces & end to end scenarios are tested thoroughly and documented.
- Monitoring & Validation of all background Jobs, Inbound queues & Outbound queues
- Develop solutions by designing system specifications, standards and programming.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide bug fixes.
- Responsible for Unit Testing & Integration Testing.
- Documenting Test results, preparation of User Manual, Issue Logs.
- Participate in project meetings and give regular updates to project stakeholders
Required Skills And Qualifications
- A minimum of 10+ years developing enterprise class integrations between onpremises and cloud applications (on-prem to on-prem, on-prem to cloud, and cloudto-cloud).
- 5+ years of experience building integrations using SAP PO/PI, SAP BTP Integration Suite, CPI-DS.
- Experience with platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boom is added advantage
- Has background on best practices, development methodologies & standards.
- Good knowledge of API based integration and micro services design patterns & best practices.
- Expertise in working with standard adapters such as RFC, IDOC, JDBC, SFTP, SOAP, HTTPS, OData etc.
- Familiar with other SAP Integration Suite solutions such as CPI-DS, API Management, Event Mesh
- Familiar with SAP interface technologies (SAP Gateway, RFC/BAPI, IDOC) and SAP Cloud Connector
- Experienced in developing custom integration flows with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) as well as in standard integrations such as Success Factors, Ariba etc.
- Experience with configuration and tuning for SAP Cloud Integration set-up.
- Excellent interpersonal and the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders, support personnel, and clients.
- Good documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of SAP PI/PO
