Job Description:

SAP IBP DP and IO functional consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the Demand Planning (DP) and Inventory Optimization (IO) modules within the SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) system, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to understand their supply chain planning needs and translate them into functional configurations within the SAP IBP platform, ensuring optimal inventory levels and accurate demand forecasting across the supply chain.

When FTE will be on site at Celanese Hyderabad Office, Sohini Tech Park, Financial District, Nanakramguda.

Responsibilities:

Requirement gathering and analysis: Work with business users to understand their specific requirements for demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain optimization, including identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and pain points.

Solution design and configuration: Design and configure the SAP IBP DP and IO modules based on business needs, including setting up planning areas, master data, forecast models, inventory optimization parameters, and relevant planning processes.

Data management: Manage data flows between SAP ERP and SAP IBP, ensuring data accuracy and consistency for effective planning.

Demand forecasting: Implement and maintain statistical forecasting models within SAP IBP, including model selection, parameter tuning, and error analysis to optimize demand accuracy.

Inventory optimization: Configure inventory optimization rules and algorithms within SAP IBP to achieve desired inventory levels while balancing costs and service levels.

Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) integration: Facilitate collaboration between sales, marketing, and operations teams by integrating demand plans with supply constraints within the S&OP process.

User training and support: Provide comprehensive training to superusers on the SAP IBP DP and IO functionalities, addressing any issues and providing ongoing support.

System maintenance and upgrades: Stay updated with SAP IBP releases and apply necessary upgrades and patches to ensure system functionality and stability.
